My intent is to help you live a life of service, creativity, fulfillment and personal and business success.<\/p>\n

My approach to coaching incorporates\u00a0several decades of experience as an author, screenwriter, and\u00a0non-profit leader.\u00a0I’ve studied extensively\u00a0in Zen Buddhism, Jewish mysticism, Hellinger family and organizational constellations, and martial arts. My coaching work\u00a0is also informed by my knowledge of the Human Design System, Sent\u00e9 energetics, and indigenous approaches to feeding\u00a0and serving life.<\/p>\n

\"New<\/a>In 2001, St. Martin\u2019s Press published my nonfiction book and card “divination” set for adults, Oracle of Kabbalah: Mystical Teachings of the Hebrew Letters<\/em>. I’m also the author of several award-winning screenplays for family-friendly films.<\/p>\n

In 1989, I founded Friends of Trees, a Portland, Oregon-based nonprofit urban forestry organization. \u00a0Since its beginning, Friends of Trees has involved more than 50,000 volunteers to plant about one million trees.<\/p>\n

I have a M.Ed in Teaching the Deaf from Lewis and Clark College, and a B.A. in English and General Literature from the State University of New York at Binghamton.<\/p>\n

I’ve run the Boston Marathon five times, and in the fall of 2013, after training in the martial arts for eighteen years, I earned a black belt in Shotokan Karate.<\/p>\n

I’m a member of the Leitzanim Kadosh<\/em>, an order of Jewish sacred clowns. \u00a0The Spirit of Play<\/strong> inspires all of my work.<\/p>\n

I currently work as Grant Writer and Coordinator for the Center for Popular Democracy.<\/p>\n
